Mini Biography
Jacob Sartorius, an acclaimed singer, was born on October 2nd 2002 in Oklahoma. He was adopted at a young age and grew up and lives in Reston, Virginia. He has a sister named Caroline Sartorius and a brother named Trey Sartorius, and his parents are Pat and Rolf Sartorius. Growing up Jacob was apart of his school's musical theater program. Jacob first acquired fame, from posting an anti-bullying vine, which blew up overnight. He took his charming personality and continued on vine, he then joined the musical.ly platform where he currently has over 19 million fans. Jacob released his debut single "Sweatshirt" in May of 2016, which amassed much fame and recognition. "Sweatshirt" was followed by singles, "Hit or Miss" (July 2016) and "All My Friends" (October 2016). Due to his mass success and popularity, Jacob had an "All My Friends Tour" in 2016, that had a limited amount of stops on the East and West Coast. Jacob later released his debut EP, "The Last Text" on January 20th 2017. He went on a world tour for this EP starting in January 2017 and concluding in August of the same year. In June 2017, Jacob released his single "Hit Me Back" which features, singer Blackbear. This song was later declared by New York Times, to be one of the top 54 songs of 2017. Later that year, Jacob released his second EP, entitled, "Left Me Hangin'" on October 6th, 2017, and went on his second world tour. Both of Jacob's EP's have debuted at #1 on the iTunes pop charts.
