Luke David Blumm was born on September 5, 2009 in New York. He comes from a family of actors. Luke loves storytelling and playing make-believe so acting was a natural step for him. Luke is known for his very natural and realistic acting style. He also enjoys playing video games, skateboarding and writing comic books.

• Son of Matthew Sean Blumm.
• Luke stopped eating meat after watching Joaquin Phoenix's Oscar acceptance speech.
• Director Ivan Kavanagh reportedly auditioned 500 kids for the role of David in SON. He said he saw a lot of good actors but didn't want a polished "Hollywood" performance. He wanted an actor so natural that there was no difference between his demeanor on and off camera. As soon as he saw Luke's audition tape, he knew that he had found what he was looking for.
• Luke begged his parents to let him start auditioning for 6 months before they finally agreed.
• During his audition for The King Of Staten Island, he was asked to improvise a scene with Judd Apatow. Luke mentioned a comic book character that he had made up when he was 5 years old called "Iceflash." They did an improvisation around that and Judd liked it so much that they asked Luke if they could write Iceflash into the story.
• Waited until his last day filming The Sinner before telling Bill Pullman, "May the Schwartz be with you".
• While preparing for the movie SON he studied medical videos of people having grand mal seizures in order to make his physicality more believable.
• 2022 Fangoria Chainsaw Award nomination for best supporting performance in SON.
