Mini Biography

Zach Shirey has a passion for learning and a future desire to direct films. He has had an interest in film since he was very young. He would imitate his favorite characters and reenact his favorite scenes. He and his sister, Caitlin, would put on shows in front of family. Not only did they act out movies they had seen but also movies Zach wrote scripts for and created himself.

When his parents realized the passion for acting was not waning in either child, they began taking the steps necessary for them to fulfill their dreams.

• Zach loves collecting Star Wars memorabilia and action figures. He considers himself a "Star Wars Nerd.".
