Mini Biography

Upon making the permanent move to Los Angeles, Derek Brandon booked a role in the "Unbroken" sequel, "Unbroken; Path to Redemption"! Although perhaps best known for his lead role as "Mickey" in the Mickey Matson film franchise, "Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Conspiracy" and "Pirate's Code: The Adventures of Mickey Matson", Derek is no stranger to the big screen. He has now starred in over 15 films, a multitude of commercials along with webisodes and voice-overs.

Derek's love for acting began at age 4 After witnessing Derek re-enact every film he watched, his parents made the decision to enroll him in the local theater. This lead to numerous acting opportunities, on and off stage and his passion for acting grew with each experience.

After graduating high school (in the top 10), Derek headed straight to LA where he knows the possibilities are endless and cannot wait to take his career to the next level!
