Mini Biography
Athan Sporek was born on August 5, 2007 in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 7, Athan made Broadway history starring as the youngest Gavroche ever in Les Miserables. He is best known for his recurring role of Sam in The Dangerous Book for Boys (2018), as well as his appearances on The Knick (2014), and Odd Mom Out (2015). Athan also originated the starring role of Young Calogero in A Bronx Tale on Broadway, and Toby in A Day by the Sea. He went on to play the leading role of the Prince in New York City Ballet's The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center. Recently, Athan played Young Daniel in the film The Magnificent Meyersons. Athan's extensive voice-over credits include Nickelodeon's Welcome to the Wayne and Butterbean's Cafe, as well as Super Wings. At the age of 10, Athan was one of the youngest soloists to sing the National Anthem at the sold-out Madison Square Garden 2017 Big East Basketball Tournament final game.
