Mini Biography

Matthew Davey was born on January 24, 2002 in Brick, NJ. In 2007, his family relocated to Bluffton, SC where Matthew saw his first play and fell in love with the theater. He began acting in school plays and quickly moved onto Youth Theater productions with USCB and Main Street Youth Theatre as well as performing with Sun City Community Theatre, May River Theatre Group, and Art Center of Coastal Carolina over the past several years. Matthew has participated in the Savannah 48 Hour Film Festival in 2014 & 2015 working for the award winning Dave Lavery Film Production team. Matthew has also been cast in multiple SCAD student films covering a multitude of genres. Matthew continues to hone his skills by participating in acting workshops, voice lessons, and dance classes. Every director who has worked with Matthew has raved about his work ethic and dedication.
